Living Allowance:

According to Local Company Standards. Full board will be provided while accommodated in a hotel. If accommodated in an apartment, living allowance to be provided is Euro 1400 for Milan, 1.170 for the other locations, per month according to presence.

In accordance with the Company’s travel policy and within the booking capabilities of the Company, the latter will provide a prepaid economy ticket from the departure airport nearest to the domicile of the Employee to the Work Location at commencement and termination of the employment and at the beginning and the end of each Leave Period. The Employee will be liable for any excess baggage costs

JOB DESCRIPTION Interface Coordinator:

 

It will be in charge of the co-ordination of the engineering interfaces for the subsea development scope of the project, between all parties and all locations: home office, construction sites and offshore. It shall consequently have a technical knowledge of SPS (subsea production system), umbilicals and line pipe supplies. He reports to the Interface Manager and maintains operational links with the Technical Manager.

 

Its responsibilities include the following:

  • Acts as reference point in the Engineering Team for coordination of Contractor engineering interface issues.
  • Assists the Interface Manager in developing and implementing a documented Interface Management System and providing all required engineering interface management activities.
  • Ensure that technical interfaces (both functional and physical) within its own scope of supply and physical interfaces between itself and other relevant parties are identified, recorded, understood, agreed upon by all parties, and reported.
  • Coordinate and control the identification of interfaces by the Discipline Lead Engineers / Specialist Engineers.
  • Coordinate the engineering and procurement interfaces that are considered the most critical due to the project schedule, between all parties and all locations: home office, construction sites and offshore.
  • Control the interface information flow and ensures that CONTRACTOR’s comments/responses registered in the interface database are accurate and fulfilled in due time.
  • Manage the resolution and timely close-out of all relevant technical interface issues.
  • Provide relevant information or data to those groups within the Contractor’s own organization, which may have need of, or be impacted by, the subject information.
  • Provide relevant information or data to other contracting parties and to the Interface Manager, which may have need of, or be impacted by, the subject information.
  • Prepare and register Interface Request in coordination with Specialist engineers.
  • To call for internal interface coordination meetings when required, organize and/or attend the internal interface coordination meetings on a regular basis.
  • Attending external coordination meeting with COMPANY and other Contractors.
  • Return quickly to the CONTRACTOR’s Interface Manager all information and/or actions which could impact or delay proposed schedule of the interface’s deliverables.
  • For alerting CONTRACTOR’s Interface Manager and COMPANY’s Interface Manager on unresolved interfaces and work to expedite a solution.
  • Co-ordinates review for all procedures, data, instructions, drawings, etc. at relevant work interfaces.
  • Co-ordinates review of any communication to ensure that technical interface issues are recognized and addressed.
  • Communicate (via appropriate documentation) issues and resolutions to all affected parties, including the Company.
  • Inform the involved parties of all inter-organization interface meetings at the time they are organized.
  • Follow-up within CONTRACTOR’s Design and Installation Engineering and Procurement / Construction team the necessary actions to ensure that the proposed schedule of the interface actions is followed.
