Required Mandatory Qualification:

  • 5 year of offshore experience on Construction and Heavy lift vessel, with the position of lead  (chief elect. or first electrician) - Mandatory.
  • Knowledge on Kongsberg system, k-chief and k-pos. Able to manage FMEA and DP trial.
  • Knowledge of Amos maintenance system.
  • Capability to manage a team of at least 10 people.

Contract status:

Valid until 30.06.2024 (done for administrative purposes and can be extended)

Start date:

ASAP – as soon as available


35 working days, followed by 35 days spent on leave.

12 hours per day, 7 days per week

Role Description



  • Coordinate the electrical team on DP vessel, where experience and good electrical knowledge is necessary
  • Be the responsible of electrical and electronic correct operation/maintenance ensuring the respect of HSE company procedures
  • Act as the Cyber Security Officer (CySO) in line with IMO maritime instruments, where applicable as per Organization Chart



  • Supervise and monitor, with full autonomy, Dynamic position system, Vessel Power Management, vessel automation system, thrusters and all auxiliaries
  • Monitor and control supervising on-board electrical/electronic equipment according with safety procedures
  • Define maintenance work setting priorities and proposing maintenance schedule
  • Propose to the Chief Engineer and Chief Electrician the required quantity of material stock levels, in order to maintain work continuity
  • Supervise the carrying out of work activities in compliance to safety procedures and practices
  • Ensure the efficiency of the electrical/electronic equipment
  • Coordinate the electrical team for ordinary and extraordinary maintenance
  • Act as focal point for cyber security matters
  • Ensure compliance with the cyber security model established by the Company and with the applicable standards, where applicable as per Organization Chart
